For too long has the Battle of the coasts been raging. Geocachers now have a means to prove once and for all, Which coast is indeed better!

For those living on the coasts, it has become difficult to know how far a cache might actually be. A new cache for example might appear to only be 4km from home, but require an 80km drive to acquire.

September 20 by traakd (485 found) A little bird mentioned that this cache was going to be reactivated so we decided we'd go get it this afternoon. Our timing was so good that Juicepiglet had already completed her spell and the cache was back in action. Juicepig and piglet and Mr. and Mrs. Lisdowney were there when we arrived. They stayed for the possible entertainment of R going into the drink again. So... quick paddle over... quickish find... quick paddle back. Luckily for R... they were disappointed. It was really great to meet them, especially the wee, lovely Juicepiglet. Our second ever canoe-cache. Thanks Juicepiglet! [view this log on a separate page]

September 20 by Juicepig (3336 found) Found shortly after Piglet replaced the cache, quite a sight to see her levitate over there like that and replace it! makes you wonder why she has so much problems walking and talking! Enjoyed a good little canoe out with Lisdowney this afternoon while piglet stayed ashore and watched us, amusing onlookers with her tales of magic and levitation! [view this log on a separate page]
